About Us
Formed in 2001 by local growers, Finger Lakes Produce Auction, Inc., located in Penn Yan, New York is New York State’s first produce auction established to provide local growers, farmers and producers with the opportunity to bring their products to market using a fair competitive bidding strategy. The auction is currently managed by Nelson Hoover and a Board of dedicated local farmers. Today the Auction has grown to become New York State’s largest produce auction.
The produce auction has a well-established schedule of events year-round including produce, hay, food, and eggs. Special events bring folks from around the country to consign and bid on all different types of tractor equipment, tools and machinery. The company’s building and materials auctions are also held twice a year and are duly successful. Other special events include handcrafted wood furniture, quilts and handmade items, seasonal product offerings and the annual Christmas tree and wreath auctions. FLPA is never short of events and happenings.

Tomatoes, Sweet Corn, Cantaloupes, Peppers, Watermelons, Sweet Onions, Potatoes
Fall Crop
Winter Squash (Acorn, Buttercup, Butternut, Spaghetti, Blue Hubbard), Cabbage, Cauliflower, Broccoli, Pumpkins, Gourds, Indian Corn, Turnips, Red Beets, Sweet Potatoes, Mums, Apples
